"Easy to work with. Listened to our needs and paid attention to the details which is what you want for wills and contracts. Very professional. Would recommend."

"I needed a business lawyer to review an amendment to a contract for my small counseling practice. My CPA recommended Charles Kassouf and another attorney. I did a phone interview with both candidates, and was immediately impressed by Charles in his ability to understand both the letter and the spirit of what I needed to accomplish. He was also graciously willing to work off of my first draft in order to save time and fees. He was more thorough and comprehensive in his advice and work product than I had anticipated, and I learned more than I realized I needed to know about business contracts. I plan to use him for another project, and I am glad I have an attorney to consult with when needed in the future."

I enjoy working with my clients to help them find their path forward. I take my client relationships very seriously. Each client engagement is specific to that client and the related facts. I cannot and do not guarantee any results including results I have achieved for clients who were nice enough to write on my behalf. I can say that as an attorney, my professional responsibilities are prescribed by the Maryland Attorney’s Rules of Professional Conduct as well as substantive and procedural law. Below, is an excerpt from the Rules which I take to heart:
As a representative of clients, an attorney performs various functions. As advisor, an attorney provides a client with an informed understanding of the client's legal rights and obligations and explains their practical implications. As advocate, an attorney zealously asserts the client's position under the rules of the adversary system. As negotiator, an attorney seeks a result advantageous to the client but consistent with requirements of honest dealing with others. As evaluator, an attorney acts by examining a client's legal affairs and reporting about them to the client or to others.

"Attorney Kassouf helped us structure a real estate partnership with multilevel LLCs across several states. His guidance was instrumental in quickly assessing a number of options, creating appropriate incorporations, and ensuring all the legal documents were in order. He was great to work with and very responsive to emails and phone calls. "

"I would highly recommend Charles Kassouf, attorney, based on my case. He kept me informed at all times concerning what motions would be filed and what would be happening at trial dates. His fees were very fair and based on the amount of time to prepare for the case. He consulted with other attorneys when needed and is very knowledgeable and methodical in his approach."
